Custom-Engineered Sheaves
Our custom-engineered head sheaves, cluster sheaves, and compensating sheaves are available in a full range of sizes and configurations, including single-piece or 180° split designs, each fully modeled with FEA-reviewed analysis and crafted for infinite fatigue life, making them ideal for Koepe friction winders and high‑demand mining applications.
Standard head sheaves
- Supplied one piece or 180-degree split for ease of shipping and installation

Cluster sheaves
- Designed for use with multi-rope Koepe friction winders
- Cluster Head Sheaves designed to suite ground mounted Koepe winders
- Cluster deflection sheaves designed to suite tower mounted koepe winders
- Cluster sheaves supplied with a single fixed sheave and remaining sheaves are floating with greaseable bronze bushings or self-lubricating composite bushings.

Concrete Forms
With over 25 years of experience, Nordic Minesteel Technologies engineers and fabricates custom mining concrete forms for shaft infrastructure in deep mine development. Our site-specific forms are available in a wide range of heights, diameters, and multi-tier configurations, built to withstand the rigors of underground conditions and to meet the structural requirements of permanent or temporary shaft lining and collar construction. We supply both cost-effective fixed forms for economical development, and slip-form systems that support rapid advancement by allowing crews to pour, cure, and raise the forms continuously without the need for repeated installation and removal.
Loading pockets
With years of expertise and a focus on shop pre-assembly, NMT delivers loading pockets designed for seamless underground installation. We offer a variety of configurations to suit your needs, including single or double-flask designs, pantleg styles, and volumetric or gravimetric (load cell) options. To ensure efficient material flow, choose from arc gate or top hinge discharge gates, all powered by either hydraulic or pneumatic systems. NMT’s loading pockets provide a customizable and efficient solution for your underground operations.
